The Rescue Squad is a volunteer-based non-profit organization contracted by Charleston County, South Carolina to provide support and operations for automobile and heavy extrication, missing or injured boaters, land and marine search & rescue, confined space and high angle rescue, diving, drowning recovery, swift water rescue, and more.

We respond to various types of emergencies with a variety of light, medium and heavy rescue vehicles, a variety of boats including an air boat and specialty equipment such as side scan sonar.
